Questions we hear often

Clear answers about how we work, what we take on, and how a renovation project with ROMEXPRESS REFORM S.L. usually begins.

What kind of renovation work do you specialise in?

We focus on interior renewal inside finished buildings — surface preparation, painting and finishes, repairs, fitting details, and bringing existing rooms back to a high standard. Our strength is refinement and repair, not ground-up construction.

Do you handle structural or engineering work?

We do not take on major structural alterations, load-bearing changes, or licensed engineering as standard scope. If a project reveals hidden issues, we will explain options and can coordinate with appropriate specialists when agreed in writing.

Where do you work?

We are based in Madrid and serve clients across the city and wider Spain depending on project size and logistics. Share your location when you contact us and we will confirm whether a visit or remote assessment is practical.

How do I start a project?

Email romexpressreform@gmail.com or use our contact page with a short description, photos if possible, and your availability. We reply to arrange a call, office meeting, site visit, or video walkthrough when that is enough to understand the space.

Are online or phone estimates binding?

Initial figures are indicative until we have confirmed measurements, substrates, access, and materials on site or through detailed documentation. A formal quote outlines scope, exclusions, and price before work begins.

Can we live in the property while work is underway?

Often yes, room by room, if we agree a sequence that keeps essential areas usable and safe. Dust, noise, and utility interruptions are part of renovation; we plan protection for adjacent areas and communicate which zones are off-limits each phase.

How long does a typical project take?

Duration depends on scope, drying times, material lead times, and access. After assessment we propose a realistic sequence rather than a generic calendar promise. We prioritise predictable phases and keeping the site orderly as work progresses.

Can I supply my own materials or fixtures?

Sometimes, if items arrive on time, are suitable for the substrate, and meet safety standards. We will flag compatibility risks early. When we supply materials, we stand behind appropriate use and installation for those items as agreed in your quote.

How are payments handled?

Payment terms are set out in your written quote or contract — commonly a deposit to secure scheduling, progress payments tied to agreed milestones, and a final balance on completion of the scoped work. We explain this clearly before you commit.

Do you offer guarantees on workmanship?

Warranty coverage for completed work is defined in your project agreement. Normal wear, misuse, or changes made by others after handover are typically excluded. We document finishes and care notes so you know how to maintain renewed surfaces.

What are your office hours?

Our office at C/ Luis Missión, 26, Planta 0, Madrid is open Monday – Friday 09:00 – 18:00 and Saturday 10:00 – 14:00. Sunday closed. Appointments help us give your enquiry proper attention.
