About us

A studio mindset inside other people’s walls

ROMEXPRESS REFORM S.L. grew from a simple conviction: most buildings in Madrid do not need reinvention — they need patient interior renewal. We are a small team that plans carefully, prepares surfaces properly, and finishes rooms so they feel settled, not staged.

Registered in Spain Interior renovation & repair Based in Madrid

Renovation tools and materials arranged on a work surface in natural light
Tools kept in order — preparation is where quality is decided.

We read the room before we change it

Every project begins with observation: how light moves, where floors dip, which corners collect moisture, how a family actually passes through the flat. We document substrates, note adjacent finishes, and agree what must stay untouched. That discipline keeps surprises manageable and budgets honest.

“Our job is to make the existing shell feel intentional again — not to impose a catalogue look.”

From our office on C/ Luis Missión we coordinate visits across Madrid and nearby municipalities. We prefer plain language over jargon, and we would rather adjust scope early than promise what the building cannot support.

What guides our work

Four anchors we return to when a hallway feels too narrow to matter or a kitchen needs more than a quick coat.

  1. Substrate first

Fillers, primers, and levelling are not optional extras. We treat them as the contract between old fabric and new finish.

  2. Occupied spaces

Many clients live or work through a renovation. We sequence trades, isolate dust, and keep paths clear without turning the home into a construction site.

  3. Material honesty

We specify coatings and fittings that suit real maintenance — not demo-day sheen. If a product will fail in a bathroom, we say so early.

  4. Handback clarity

Before keys return to your pocket, we walk the space with you and note curing times, touch-up points, and simple upkeep.

Close enough to see the standard

Finish work is judged at arm’s length and from across the room. We aim for both.

Room scale

Commercial interiors receive the same sequencing discipline as homes.

Surface scale

Surface transitions must disappear in raking light, not only under ceiling spots.

Before we mobilise on site

A practical checklist — not a marketing promise — that shapes whether we proceed and how we schedule.

Access & protection
Paths for materials, floor covers, and ventilation agreed in writing.
Scope boundary
What is included, what sits with other trades, and what requires a specialist.
Sample areas
Test patches for colour, texture, or adhesion when substrates are uncertain.
Communication rhythm
Single point of contact, update cadence, and decision windows that avoid idle days.
Close-out
Snag list, curing guidance, and documentation you can keep after we leave.
